Raketu, a global Internet communications company, announced its release of Raketu RakDroid mobile application for Android. With Raketu's RakDroid, mobile users on 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi will now be able to make mobile-to-mobile, desktop-to-mobile and mobile-to-desktop video calls, voice calls and send instant messages completely free. RakDroid mobile users can also take advantage of Raketu's low dialout calling and SMS-texting rates at up to 65 percent lower than Skype's. Raketu provides the most flexibility of calling with mobile-to-mobile, mobile-to-phone, and phone-to-phone calls. In addition, Raketu users can even make calls directly from any browser without a download or by using Raketu's desktop download. And all are available using Raketu's calling plans or at Raketu's ultralow rates--from any device, anywhere in the world, mobile or desktop/laptop.

With the new RakDroid application, Android users will now be able to make free Raketu to Raketu voice, video and IM calls, make voice calls to landline/mobile phones, and send text-SMS messages over 3G, 4G, and Wi-Fi. The application can be downloaded from the Android Market Place or directly from Raketu.
