Users have pointed out that the website of Spain-based Banco Santander (SAN.MC) is not compatible with Internet Explorer 9.
Even though the browser was launched in March, the bank's site was not supporting it. Analysts are of the opinion that since IE9 was not being supported at the site, users would have to use older browsers that could compromise security.
It is believed that the bank replied to the complaint as follows, 'Unfortunately our internet banking website is not fully compatible with Internet Explorer 9 and there are no current plans to make any modifications.'
